Pravashi
Data handling and consent

Privacy Policy

How Pravashi collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you browse, enquire, book, or manage travel.

We collect only the information reasonably needed to search, book, service, secure, and comply with travel transactions.
Booking data may need to be shared with airlines, hotels, bus operators, holiday partners, visa partners, payment providers, and technology vendors involved in the transaction.
You may ask to review, correct, or withdraw certain data uses, though that can affect our ability to confirm or service a booking.

Information we may collect

Depending on the service you use, we may collect identity, contact, traveller, itinerary, payment-reference, billing, communication, device, and session information. For certain products this can include passport details, visa-related documents, government-issued identification, date of birth, nationality, or other information required by the supplier or by law.

If you book for someone else, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to share that traveller's information with us and with the relevant supplier.

Why we use personal information

We use personal information to process searches, confirm bookings, issue booking communications, respond to service requests, manage refunds or cancellations, reduce fraud, maintain system security, comply with tax and regulatory requirements, and improve the product.

Where marketing communications are offered, they are used to share updates, launches, fare or product information, and related promotional messages. You can opt out of non-essential marketing messages when that option is provided.

How and with whom data is shared

Travel fulfilment requires data sharing with the relevant service provider. That can include airlines, hotels, bus operators, holiday vendors, visa-processing partners, payment gateways, fraud-prevention vendors, hosting partners, customer-support tools, and professional advisers where needed.

For international travel products, some data may be processed outside India by the supplier or its systems. Supplier-side processing is governed by that supplier's own privacy and operational policies.

Consent, access, correction, and withdrawal

Where consent is the basis for collection or processing, we rely on information and action you provide during use of the website, booking flow, support interaction, or document submission.

You may request review or correction of personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete. You may also withdraw consent for certain uses, but if that information is required to complete or service a booking, we may be unable to proceed or may have to cancel the affected request.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the booking, customer support, audit, fraud prevention, legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory purposes that apply to the transaction.

We use technical, organisational, and access controls that are intended to be commensurate with the sensitivity of the data and the nature of our business. No internet-based system is completely risk free, but we aim to apply documented security and operational safeguards appropriate to the service.

Cookies and website technology

Pravashi uses essential session and preference technologies to keep the site functioning, maintain state, and remember settings such as appearance preferences. We may also use limited diagnostic or measurement tools to understand reliability and performance if those tools are enabled.

You can manage many browser-based controls through your device or browser settings. Disabling essential storage or cookies can affect login, checkout, saved preferences, or other site functions.

Policy basis

These pages are written for the current product and operating model.

Current drafting assumes Pravashi acts primarily as an OTA-style intermediary for supplier-provided travel services.

As new products, support channels, legal entities, or payment flows are added, these pages should be revised to match the actual operating model.
